Project Description
In collaboration with the New York Public Library, Shadowbox Design Management worked on an auditorium renovation project. The comprehensive approach that involved managing theatrical and architectural lighting, along with drapery and rigging, was done to enhancing the auditorium’s capabilities and align it with the cultural demands of the community.
The decision to transition from older incandescent fixtures to LED products, driven by cost savings and energy efficiency, is a forward-thinking move that also brings improved performance to the lighting system. These LED fixtures add value not only in terms of sustainability but also in terms of the advanced features that contribute to a higher-quality lighting experience.
Installing Rogue RH Hybrid fixtures and COLORado Batten units around the auditorium’s stage created a versatile and impactful lighting solution. The Rogue fixtures’ ability to create eye-catching beam lighting and spotlighting, combined with their intense output, adds a professional and dynamic touch to the auditorium’s ambiance. The use of the prism layering feature further showcases a creative approach to achieving intricate and captivating stage lighting effects.
