Project Description
Shadowbox Design Management installed custom speakers to enhance audio quality in the synagogue’s main sanctuary space helping to improving the congregation’s worship experience. Integration with the existing structure and aesthetics meant that there needed to be lots of attention to details in order to deliver a seamless solution.
Installing eight new speakers suspended from overhead timber beams was a strategic move to optimize audio coverage throughout the sanctuary. The use of custom brackets and birch plywood exterior box surrounds not only ensured functionality but also takes aesthetics into consideration by blending harmoniously with the existing ceiling design. This attention to visual coherence shows the importance of maintaining the sacred ambiance of the space.
The decision to replace existing amplifiers with new ones in the AV equipment rack aligns with the goal of achieving higher audio quality. Upgrading the amplification system is crucial for delivering clear and impactful sound to the congregation during weekly services.
